What is Rad Academy About?
Rad Academy was created to support homeschool families looking for meaningful, community-centered enrichment. As a homeschooling parent myself, I understand the need for flexible, creative spaces where kids can learn, grow, and connect- and where parents can feel supported too.
What started as a PE class in the park has grown into a full electives program and a home for family-friendly events like graduations and waterpark parties. Every part of Rad Academy is built with love, purpose, and a deep respect for the homeschooling journey.
Why I started Rad Academy
I started Rad Academy because I wanted my own children- and yours- to experience learning in a joyful, hands-on, community-based way. We focus on subjects that often get skipped at home: art, science, music, and history. We also prioritize time for connection and free play, where kids can build friendships and just be themselves.
I believe that learning is richer when it's shared. Through Rad Academy, I hope to create spaces that feel warm, welcoming, and real.
Curriculum & Values
Rad Academy used a blend of curriculum resources, some of which are Christian-based. These materials reference God and Reflect a faith-based worldview, especially in science. However, we do not teach Bible studies or promote specific doctrines. Our history curriculum is secular, and our goal is to create a welcoming environment for all homeschool families who value creativity, community, and respectful learning.

About Me
Meet The Teacher
I’m a homeschooling mom of three with a big heart for kids and a background in education. I’ve worked as a substitute teacher in the school district, taught at a micro-school, and spent years as a nanny. Teaching and caring for kids has always been a natural part of my life.
I created Rad Academy to combine my love for learning, community, and creativity. Whether it’s leading homeschool P.E. classes, electives, or special events, I aim to create spaces where kids feel safe, seen, and excited to learn.
If you’re looking for a small, family-style program where your child can build friendships, explore new subjects, and be part of something meaningful — I’d love to welcome you to Rad Academy.
